"Worldwide equity coverage direct from the stock markets, comprehensive market indices, economic data direct from national government sources as well as the OECD and IMF, fixed income securities and associated indices, commodities and derivatives data. Forecast earnings data from IBES and added value data sets from respected sources such as MSCI and FTSE. The output of this system is numbers, time-series data, typically exported to Excel, or charts. There is no textual information in Datastream.

WARNING! Datastream is a complicated system with lots of data and many advanced functionalities! Should therefore not be used for quick reference or if you only need one or two numbers. Go instead to other databases.
